More about Nayoro 14 Dec 2001
When I was in the mission (1986-88) Nayoro was a fully functioning area. The Elders (usually elders although I heard sisters were there at one time) lived in Nayoro and went to church in shibetsu. My last 6 months while I was in Wakkanai we were in the same district as Nayoro. The DL usually bounced back and forth between Nayoro and Wakkanai as far as an HQ for the district was concerned. Due to distance we rarely had a district kkk together. Nayoro would have there own and we in Wakkanai would have ours. Finances were kept separate also unlike most other districts in the mission. So I got to do all the monthly merf myself ugh!
