Muroran apato memories 05 May 2004
I remember the Muroran apartment and Jiminez Choro very well. I was there in Winter of 83 with Jiminez. After getting of the the furo we would be cold so we hooked up gas hose to the famous stove with a metal attachment on the end. Sort of a wand with a flame on the end when lit. When we got out of the furo one of us would light the flame and hold it in front of the electric fan. It wasn't high tech (or very safe I suppose) but it was one heck of a blow dryer and felt great. Another memory... When I got to the apato we had no shower. Jiminez and I procrured about 20 feet of neoprene hose and scrounged around for a shower head in the gomi around town. Once we had the gear we melted the shower head to the hose and connected it to the kitchen sink water heater. It was odd witht the hose running through the kitchen and into the shower, but it made for a faster alternative to the furo when you just wanted to take a shower!
