After my mission, I received my Doctorate of Optometry degree. My wife, Kim, and I have 5 Children. Jeremy, Angelie, Aaron, Nicholas and Rebekah. I have served as a stake missionary for three years, Elders Quorum President and in every teaching postion imaginable. Right now I am serving as a counselor in the Elders Quorum and as the ward Chorister. I am still in the process of building my own house out in the country where I am utilizing as many energy efficient concepts as possible. It is a strawbale design, using strawbales as exterior insulation and stucco. I have hopes to install a wind generator and become totally independent of the electrical grid within the next year or so. We have planted a large orchard and have ample room to grow most of the food that we need. Our water source is a natural spring. We invite any of you to come and see our work in progress and see our Japanese koi ponds and sunken gardens.
