Comments: Life is amazing in the twists and turns it takes. When I returned from the Tokyo North Mission, I finished at BYU in 1982 with a BSc. Zoology and then went back to Japan teaching English and traveling through Asia for three years more years. Since returning from Japan I have earned a PhD in Integrative Medicine and have a private practice in Spokane, Washington working with people with nervous system disorders like Parkinson's, M.S., autism, seizure disorders, etc. I came out to my family in the early 90's and officially left the church in 2008 over the millions of LDS dollars spent on Prop 8. I converted to Judaism in 2014 and have rich and diverse life with my partner and her two sets of twins (7 and 9 years old). I am part of the Interfaith Movement and a poet and focus on Neurotheology or the idea that our brains influence our faith and faith influences our brain function. I have a column at SpokaneFavs and Inner Child Magazine and have contributed to over 60 books on Amazon. |
