Missionary Passings Reported

David Doerr reported the following on April 30, 2004:

Subject: Elder Michael Hall passed away...

To anyone that knew Elder Hall, I just read his obituary in my hometown newspaper... I am not sure how he died, but I know his family would need our prayers and love.

Keith Duffin (KLM, 1989-91) sent a message regarding the following in January 2004:

Subject: Anja Montgomery Fraser Passed Away on January 20, 2004...

I had the privilege of knowing her while on my mission and continuing that friendship afterwards. I traveled to GA for the funeral. It was well attended and from what was said it was obvious that I was not the only one who had been affected by this great sister. Anja had a saying that she tried to live her life by: "Live well, laugh often, love much."

Please contact everyone you know and send phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses (preferably both) for the master list to Forrest Flake at the e-mail address above. Let us know if you want a copy of the old address list. We need volunteers to do Internet searches to locate several hundred missionaries. Thanks in advance for your help. Elders Brad Doman and Tyler Livingston Deaths Announced

Tragic News * November 20, 2000Dear Elders and Sisters:

Elder Brad Doman was killed Saturday in a snowmobile accident near Rexburg, Idaho. How we loved him. What a great missionary. Such a pure spirit and so humble yet powerful, hardworking, and obedient. What a sad, sad loss. May the Lord bless his parents and family. He was attending Ricks College, and his family had just moved three months ago from Turlock, California to Woodburn, Oregon, just south of Portland.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, November 22, at 10 A.M. at the Woodburn Ward chapel. If any of you who live over that way, could possibly attend, it would undoubtedly be a great comfort to the family. If you wish to call or write Elder Doman's parents, their address is:

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Doman, 6228 South Schneider Road, Woodburn, Oregon 97071 (contact President Flake for phone--see E-mail list for Pres. Flake e-mail address)

Please let any of our missionaries who knew Elder Doman, know of this sad event. May the Lord's death and resurrection be a great hope and comfort to all of us who loved Elder Doman so much. How we will miss him. We love you all. These two tragedies this month have endeared you all to us so much. We love you. Be careful. Keep the commandments. Stay focused on the Lord.

Love, President and Sister Flake.

Bishop Bower, of the Ricks College 4th Ward, is putting together a remembrance book to give to Elder Doman's parents (Bishop Bower's phone number can be obtained from President Flake.) In case you would like to send a memory, thought, or feeling about Elder Doman.

Also on a very sad note: Elder Tyler Livingston, who served in the KLM in 1998-1999 died on Wednesday, November 8, 2000. He was always an upbeat, happy, positive missionary with an infectious smile and lots of potential, and personality. We will miss him terribly. We loved him so much. His poor parents and family are suffering much, as you can imagine. They seem like wonderful people. I and about 25 KLM missionaries who knew Elder Livingston attended the funeral in Salt Lake City. It was very comforting. President Michael Cannon and I sent flowers "from the past and present missionaries of the Great Kentucky Louisville Mission." Love, President Flake.

Elder Livingston's parents' address is:

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Livingston, 2623 Gaylar Circle, Salt Lake City, Utah 84109

President Lunt October 1999 Conference Reunion Report:

Our KLM reunion the Saturday night of General Conference turned out so well. About 150 came out and we had a
great time catching up on how everyone is doing, work, school, marriage, etc., and reminiscing about the great mission times. We had a lot of missionaries there who finished their missions in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission. It was so good to see them again. There were also some visa waiters who had served in our mission and also spouses, fiancees, etc., who attended. Our whole family was able to attend. It was so gratifying.

Welcome President and Sister Cannon!

He is an editorial writer for the Deseret News. He served a mission 20 years ago in Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of the YM General Board of the Church, and has been serving in a stake presidency. He is George Q. Cannon's great, great grandson. I have talked to him several times on the phone--he will be tremendous."
