I attended the University of Utah after returning from Korea and graduated in 1981 with degrees in Middle Eastern Studies (Turkish) and Political Science. I immediately afterward went to work for the Department of Defense and am still under the Department's employ. Though homebased in Maryland, I've lived and traveled extensively abroad to include living in the United Kingdom from 1985 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1998. I am currently living in Hawaii, having moved here in July 2006.
I met my wife Cindy while attending a single's ward in College Park, Maryland. Cindy, a convert to the church, hails from Montpelier, VT. We married in 1982 in the South Jordan Temple. Three kids, a daughter and two sons, followed. Our daughter and son in law also have made us grandparents.
If you knew me on my mission, I'd certainly like to make contact. I suppose turning 50 makes one wonder where have all the flowers gone.
