Just opened my call this evening November 17th, 2007 and I'll be serving in the Busan Korea Mission obviously. It is such an unbelievable feeling. Both my parents served in the Philippines so it wasn't what I expected. But I know the Lord is sending me to Busan at this time for a reason. Their are people there who will have the opportunity to hear about the restored gospel and that is such an amazing thing. I couldn't be any happier. I know it will be hard especially learning the language. But I am so grateful for this opportunity. I bare witness to all of you that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on this earth today. It was restored to its fullness as in the time of Jesus Christ by the Prophet Joseph Smith who did see God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ did die for all of us and that he lives today. I know that we have apostles and prophets who lead and guide this church as we prepare for the second coming of Christ. I am so excited. I am pretty much lost for words. Busan, here I come. |
