After returning from my mission in 1995 I returned to BYU, where I resumed my studies in Computer Science. I began work as a student programmer in 96, married Tarasine Short in 1997, and started full-time employment with a software consulting firm in 98 (while still attending school). I returned to employment at BYU (full-time) in 99. We purchased a home in November of 99.
Our son, Nathaniel, was born January 1st, 2002 (he was the New Year's baby for Utah County that year). He's been a lot of fun, and has a great love of music. We had a little girl, Katie, in 2004, and Nathaniel has really enjoyed being a big brother.
I am still employed as a software engineer at BYU, and I am the Webelos leader in our ward. On the side, I write open source software, for fun, and have had a few minor successes in that arena. |
