| Comments: I’ve lived in Los Angeles since the mid 90s and certainly don’t miss the cold winters of Canada. I tried the acting gig for awhile but ultimately have chosen a regular pay check and health benefits instead. I have a 9-5 job in the entertainment industry and occasionally still perform on the side. I recently started taking Korean classes at the Korean Cultural Center here in L.A. I scored really well on the proficiency exam and was placed in a class just below advanced. Not bad considering I haven’t used these language skills on a regular basis in over 14 years. It’s a great deal too, $30 for a ten week course, books and snacks provided. I certainly enjoyed my mission and wish I kept in better touch with all the friends I made during those two years. | |
