Comments:
The Lord has truly blessed us this past year. We now find ourselves the proud owners of a small home close to our old apartment. It is a two bedroom ranch style house, with a finished basement, nice yard, and huge deck. We love having our own space and lots of room for James to run around and play. Brianna has enjoyed decorating and David is starting to get the remodeling bug. His first project is to tile the fireplace and after that he’s going to tackle the kitchen.
Dave loves his job as a salesman; he gets to talk about tools all day every day (any man’s dream). He is still pursuing his degree and will be transferring back to BYU to finish up through their distance-learning program. Church duties keep him busy too, since he was called as Elder’s Quorum President in October. He enjoys this opportunity of serving others and getting to know more members of the congregation.
Brianna loves staying home with James. She is trying to find the energy to keep up with an active toddler who is all boy. She is learning that boys are definitely different than girls in how they aproach the world. She has also been doing some free-lance desk-top publishing and stays busy with church as well, working with the children’s Primary program and playing piano for the choir.
James will be two on January 9th. He already knows his colors and shapes, and that he only likes to eat noodles and fish sticks. He is starting to sing, say prayers, and do puzzles. He loves playing with balls, running, jumping, falling down, and throwing anything that is not bolted to the floor. He is an intelligent and loving boy, and we are very thankful that the Lord blessed us with him.
As Dave has said “I have a wonderful family, a good job, a beautiful home, and opportunities to serve... I have everything I ever wanted out of life.” We wish you that same happiness that we have been blessed with.
Love,
David, Brianna, and James Greer
