Blaine G Savage 8/31/1966 ~ 8/4/2010 Blaine gave his Mom an early birthday present when he went home to her welcoming arms, joining his big sister, Becky Lynn.Blaine is a man of faith, courage, integrity and good humor. His humor and fun loving ways built many bridges. He has a gift to help people step back, relax and laugh which he used throughout his life. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing with his Dad, his boys, brother and other family. He taught his children to play and love the game of basketball by playing whenever they could find a net. Blaine served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a period of two years in the Dearborn Michigan Mission. He later served as a Bishop's counselor and as a Bishop for the Ascutney, Vermont Ward, as well as in many other callings. His greatest legacy will be that of Sweetheart and Dad, as he served in those callings in a manner which his family will deeply appreciate for eternity. Blaine fought a ferocious battle with Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer. He was courageous, strong, and positive right to the end. We cannot express in words our deep gratitude to all those who have helped and supported the Blaine Savage family though prayer, time, talents and means. This included dedicated and wonderful medical staff from New England, Utah, and Seattle with a special, heartfelt thank you to his brother-in-law who cared for him tenderly during his last days. Blaine is a child of Jesse Kent Savage and Betty Jean Grass. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean, and a sister, Becky Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Marleigh Farrell Savage; children: Dani, Joshua, Alexis and Kyle Savage, all of Heber City, UT; his father, Jesse Kent Savage; sister, Shauna S. (Todd) Haderlie; brothers: Kevin (Nancy) Savage, Raymond (Melody) Savage, Todd (Tina) Savage, and Ron (Gloria) Savage; as well as many other family and friends who love him.
