Just a piece of trivia. I don't know how many people know or remember that the Dutchers lived in the Appleton (Wisconsin) Branch back in 1972. They actually lived in Menasha Township & as such was the only member family in the sisters' area. I think we opened & closed Neenah/Menasha that year. I understand it was opened again later.
Anyway, Richard Dutcher was about 9 or 10 at that time. His mother & I have remained dear friends through the years. The Sister Monson in "God's Army" was named for me. The epilogue for Sister Monson at the end of the movie is very close to what I did at the end of my mission.
I was just forwarding a news article to his mom, who lives in Illinois, about Dutcher's fire the other day in Mapleton, Utah.

I had a great time at the mission reunion the other night & wanted to go on record to say thx to the Ormsbys. The drive down was horrible, but then we aren't used to metro traffic anymore, living out in the slower pace of Preston, Idaho.
After we left my reunion, we stopped up to the Institute at the U of U for Don's reunion. It was huge!!! It was like a reception. I actually said it reminded me of parent teacher conference. Each mission president had their banner & the years they served & under each banner were soft chairs for the president & his wife. Then you stood in line & waited your turn to talk to them.
I think it went from 1960 to the present for the Central England area. Don knew more people at my reunion, than he did at his own. There was also a feeling of love & camarederie at our reunion.
Thx to Elder Lamb's books I was able to get some names for people that I have pictures of. I didn't get many pictures, but I did get some at baptisms, but no names. I guess I thought I'd remember them forever. Also, Elder Scott Adams brought a picture of Sister Rhoades & I sitting on the mission steps. Thx for thinking of us Scott & Janet. I brought that picture home & my kids said, "That's scary!" LOL. Not nearly as scary as 100 lb & 30 years later.
Thx again & it was great to see everyone.

Sister Martin is BACK!! It has been hard for her since Pres. Martin passed away to keep in touch, but she has offically declared now that she is BACK!! She asks a million questions on every missionary in the book, but we only had info on so many of you... She really wants to make it to the reunion in March - I am sure if more of us call and express our desire to have her there she'll be even more inclined:). So those of you that have asked for her info - here it is: #541-685-0640 (she doesn't have an email). Call her - she screens her calls:) - leave a message and call her again. She admits to being terrible at returning calls:) - so just help her out by the mentioned procedure:). GO GET HER!!!!

As per Pres. Gleed's request I am asking for help from a missionary serving under Pres. Gleed during the latter part of his "reign":). Say... 2001- . I would just be great to have help tracking down more missionaries. Same goes for Pres. MARTIN missionaries. I think Sis. Walker arranged the last Martin reunion, and I would love it if one of u "oldies" could help with doing some tracking as well. Please let me know if u have any interest in helping out!

Read Entire Message Before Emailing Me - PLEASE!! People! People! People!! There will be a reunion on March 31, 2006, for the Pres. Martin and Gleed missionaries!!! It will be held in Utah, most likely at a chapel in Saratoga Springs (easy, easy, easy to find - promise!, and it's right on the border of Utah and SL County to accomondate the masses:)...) More info to come - but just wanted to give heads up so that u can clear your schedules...

I am devastated to report that David Dornbush from the Prior Lake ward has passed away. He lost the fight with cancer yesterday the 18th of December. He was always happy, optimistic, and ready to help wherever he could. He will be missed tremendously by family, friends, and all of those missionaries who had the privilege to serve with him.

I have lost contact with Brian and Lisa Ruud from Woodbury in the last few years. If anyone has any info or can let me know how to contact them, please let me know. Thank you.

The dinner in Clearfield Friday, 9/30/05, was wonderful. Thx Don & Ida Rae for hosting it. It was fun to see people 30 years later, though quite a shock to see that the young men & women have not remained the same.
Thx to Janene (Sister Stewart-Morgan) for all of her pictures. Now I want to start scrapbooking all 18 of my pictures. I lied Elder Yeager, I have 18, not 12, LOL.
Poor Elder Yeager has a total of TWO pictures of his mission. If anyone has pictures of Elder Yeager, please share w/him.

Elder Litchfield, now there is a name from the past. Last I saw of him he was "chugging" a gallon of milk somewhere in the Twin Cities.
Are you still living in Malad?
Elder Adams
P.S. Do you remember Russell Hoffer from Madison? I talked to him on the phone the other day. Still the same.

What up everybody? It's the infamous Elder David Orton here, I just hit one year being home a couple weeks ago and one of my old companions told me about this webpage. I've lost contact with so many of my companions and my friends from Minnesota. If you see this post and recognize me send me an e mail! My address is rkodavey@yahoo.com. PEACE OUT.
David

I'm trying to get hold of Robert (Bob) Litchfield. He served in the early '70s. The last I heard he was in St. George, but I have no address. His little brother's ex-wife is a friend of mine - long story short, she gave my boys a truck that we need a title for to even do anything with. We can be fined $300 a day by the county for having "clunkers" on our property.

I was wondering if anyone knows the where abouts of Elder Mike Mc Cullough. He was my last companion the summer of 1976 in Beloit, Wisconsin. He was from the Salt Lake area.
Thanks ,

If you were one of the many who didn't make it, please contact us to catch us up on your life. We'd love to hear from you. Also, please let others know about this website. It's a great way to keep in touch with each other.
