New mission presidents

    Eight new mission presidents have been called by the First Presidency. The mission presidents and their wives will begin their service about July 1. Their assignments will be announced later. Here are their names and biographical information:O. Omar and Beatriz Canals
 
 
 Jeffrey N. and Julie Clayton
 
    Jeffrey Newren Clayton, 44, Mueller Park 5th Ward, Bountiful Utah Mueller Park Stake; stake president; former stake executive secretary, bishop, high councilor, ward Young Men president, Scoutmaster, bishop's counselor and ward executive secretary; attorney; received juris doctorate from University of Utah; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Paul Algene and Hilder Lorna Newren Clayton; married Julie Marjorie McCallum, six children. She is a Sunday School gospel doctrine teacher; former Primary Achievement Day leader, Relief Society homemaking leader, Sunday School teacher for 15-year-olds, counselor in ward Primary presidency, ward Young Women president and counselor, and Laurel adviser; studied art at University of Utah; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Edward James and Julie Waagen McCallum.
