We are getting ready to send our second son on a mission. All this thought of mission made me think of mine and so here I am. Our oldest son is in the Paris France Mission. He will be returning this Dec. (25 yr. after me) Our second will leave the end of Jan. or first of Feb. We also have two girls, ages 14 and 10.
We moved to Georgia 20 years ago for me to go to school and it has been home every since. I served as the Bishop of our Ward for 5 1/2 years and now serve on the High Council.
I am grateful for the time I had to serve the Lord as a full time Missionary. I know the Church is true, and look forward to the time we can all meet again.

P.S. Jackie and I were married in the Washington DC temple 23 years ago today. |
