I started out in the Iowa Desmoines mission. The boundaries changed while I served in Hannibal, Mo. and I was put into the Missouri, St. Louis Mission in late 1980. I was transferred to Columbia, Missouri where I served in a threesome with Sister Sarlo and Beck for one month and then finished my mission in Carbondale, Ill. I served there with Sisters Jorgensen, Christian, and Sister Hunting. I married a Tongan man who already had 10 children. We added to them 8 children of our own. Our oldest son just returned from a mission to Dallas, Texas. Our youngest is 6 and is in Kindergarten. I am currently the Young Womens President in our Ward and my husband is the Activities Chairman. We have had many trials and hardships during these years but hopefully we have grown and learned the things the Lord would want us to. The gospel is still the very center of my life that I love with all my heart! |
