Comments:
My family and I live in the Sacramento CA area. I have five (four living) children and seven grandchildren. I have served in two bishiprics, three high councils, several stake and ward music callings as well as teaching early morning seminary for 12 years.
I have recently sold my agency and am now enjoying retirement. My wife and I just returned from serving in Elberta Utah as Church Service missionaries. We did building maintenance on the 40 plus houses on the church property as well as hosting handcart treks during the summer. We had a lodge there that was open year round for church and scout groups. We enjoyed the time we spent there tremendously. It was kind of being in handyman heaven. It was hard to come home, but the grandchildren called.
I would enjoy hearing from any of my companions as well as any of you that might want information on being an agricultural church service missionary. The mission covers the world including the Martin Cove and Willies sixth crossing sites. |
