I served in Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Powell, Missoula and Casper. My companions were Ziegler, B. Nay, Horton, Krum, Schaffer, Zundel, Moyer, Grow, Davis and Westfall.
Married Cathie A. Hanes in 1983 and have 3 children. In 2006 they were 20, 18 and 15. We live in Park City, 20 minutes east of Salt Lake. We both work as Social Workers with the chronically mentally ill population. In 2005 I started working as a contractor with the Dept. of Defense which takes me to military installations Europe. I also work at the University of Utah Medical Center where I evaluate people with psychiatric problems.
None of my family has joined the Church. My father has softened over the years. An interesting point of note, my wife joined the Church the same year that I did, in a different state. She was raised in Utah . Her father was Greek Orthodox. He passed away in 1996. Her mother is a member on record but does not attend. We met while both working at the University of Utah Hospital and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in August 1983. We’ve lived in Maryland, California and Utah. We returned to Utah in 1991 to help her parents in their declining years. Her mother continues to live in her own home. I have kept in touch with some of the Elders from the Mission. |
