Married to Gina K. Andersen, a girl from my home town of Overton Nevada. No, she wasn't a sweetheart that waited for me when I left for my mission. In fact, she's six years younger than me and would have been 13 years old when I left. She was 22 and I was 28 when we were married in 1982 and we have three wonderful sons.
I served part of my mission in eastern Idaho and fell in love with the state. In 1979 I moved to Boise Idaho from Nevada to live and planned on finding a wife here. A medical problem with my mother brought me home to Nevada to help with my father's business and I soon fell in love with Gina.
We married and moved to Boise where I got a job with Micron Technology. I worked there for seven years and then moved over to Hewlett-Packard where I'm presently working today.
We both love Idaho and the "City of Trees" (Boise) and the family that we've raised near where I served my mission. |
