Just wondering how any old companions are doing. Would love to hear how everyone has made out in life. I found out that a dear friend and companion Andrew Diether had passed away. He was a wonderful friend and I will miss him a great deal. |

My baby brother is out there in Charlotte NC. He has been out there for 6 months. He was called to a Spanish-speaking misssion. I hope that all of you are taking good care of him. Every one in the Rancho San Diego Ward (El Cajon Stake, San Diego) misses our Elder Noe Correa!!! |

This is for an Elder Prince that served in Rock Hill 2nd ward in 98, you were teaching one of my friends when you were transfered and although she has not wormed up to the church it is because I was able to hear you and your companion that I was able to gain the strenght to stay in the gopel and start to get a testimony of my own, thankyou. |

This is more specifacally for Lance Montene, I lived in Rock Hill when you served there, I was just talking to someone about I wondered where and what you had done after your mission and then I was looking for another person on here and just stumbled over your name, so hello, and good luck to you, and if you decide to go back done under I will gladly go with you |

Hi,
I'm looking for "Elder Bounds" who served in the Winston-Salem First Ward, NC in 1979. He taught/baptized my then fiance and me. I was 19 and too young to realize what a great thing it was that he did and now I would like to thank him personally. Anyone with info, please let me know. Thanks to all the great YM & YW who have served here and all over the world! We love and appreciate you all.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will never forget my experiences serving as a Missionary in North Carolina. I want to let everyone know who I had the pleasure of serving with from 93-94 that I will never forget their smiling faces and their their warm spirits..... To my companions: Sis.Blades, Sis.Carter. Sis.Cornaby. Sis.Nelson and Sis.Hedrick and Sis.Andrew....I love you and miss you dearly...and to all the Elders I had the pleasure of joking around with...you know who you are.... May the Lord always bless you and your endeavors.. Much Alofa's. |

I served 10 years ago in that mission, my advise is Definitely study the New Testament, but more importantly, study the Book of Mormon. My biggest regret is that I tried to use the bible to appeal to the baptists because thats what they know. The problem is the Bible does not have the same spirit as the Book of Mormon. Read the Book of Mormon, know it, and use it more than anything!!!!! You are headed to a great place! I had an absolute blast on my mission and lots of success. Work hard, and you will too! |

Hey that's awesome that you were called to nccm. I returned about 1.5 months ago. You want information. my best suggestion is to get a long stretchy kind of polyester black skirt that you can ride a bike in. You will sweat a lot so look for dressier t'shirts that look good with the skirt. In the winter it was cold. I wore long johns. President and Sister Smith are great. There is a lot of trees--it's beautiful and green. Brush up on your New Testament. Most of all--learn, grow, and enjoy! |
|
Hey,
I've been called to the North Carolina, Charlotte mission, and I've been trying to find out all I can about this mission. If anybody would like to share anything at all, I would love to hear from you. I enter the MTC around Christmas time, and should be out in NC in January sometime. Thanks. Hope to hear from somebody soon! |
