Joined the Church in 1981, served a mission in England Manchester. Attended BYU, where I ended up teaching Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and German at the MTC.
After teaching at the MTC from 1989 to 1991 I moved to South Carolina for one year before attending the UofU for one year. Following this I worked in Germany for seven years, and then returning to Norway in 2001 to work on the Hurtigrute, sailing along the Norwegian coast. But I go to Utah at least once a year to taste some of that Mormon air.
