Hello Fellow OTMers,
Today is the 14th anniversary of being set apart as a missionary and entering the MTC! THAT makes me feel old! It makes me reflect on my wonderful experience in the OTM. I got married in October 1996 and am still very happily married to Mike Rowland. We met in our BYU ward. He was about to graduate, so I'm glad I got to know him during his last semester there! We moved to Albuquerque, NM where I got a Bachelor's in Nursing at UNM. I have not used my degree. I've been a mom. Emma is now 8, Daniel is 6, Hannah is 4, and Joseph will turn a year old in a couple months. We lived in Texas, and Florida before moving to Georgia. We like it here and have been here 3 1/2 years. I am involved in Music callings at church. I LOVED being Ward Choir Director, was just released. Now I'm the Primary Chorister. I love all the OTM missionaries and the beautiful people there! |
