I had great experiences on my mission until towards the end. As you can see my mission was short. I only served 10 months Towards October, The last month on my mission, I became mentally ill. I heard voices telling me many bad things. My mind was full of confusion on what was right and what was wrong. I fell into misery and pain. As a result I came home early. Since then my life has been both happy and sad. Everyday is very hard for me, coping with the ilness has made me fearful of many things, but I know that through it all I do have joy. For the Lord has answered my prayers by pouring his spirit upon me. I know this gospel is true and that prayer really works. I know that through misery and pain I suffer will only be but a small moment, and if I endure it well I will have joy in the Lord and be with my family and those who I reached out to forever. |
