I am living in Northwest Arkansas, married and have five children. My two oldest are boys and have both served missions. They have been married in the temple and each have one child. My oldest daughter was married in December of 2009 in the Oklahoma City temple. My youngest daughter will turn 20 this month and is considering a mission. Nephi is my youngest at 17 and is planning on serving a mission.
I am currently serving as the 2nd counselor in the Springdale Stake Presidency. Our Stake is 4 years old and was divided in 2006 by Elder Bednar who use to be our Stake President.
We love it here and this is truly a strong area for the church and has been an excellent place to raise my family. A mission field environment. I do have family in Utah and we are out there every year or so.
I am very grateful that I served a mission and I plan to do so again with Rachel.
I still remember names, address and phone numbers. I have kept track of several families that joined the church and their sons have served missions and married in the temple. |
