| It was my first area; the date was September 22nd 1994. My Companion was Elder Brown. We had returned over seven times to a particular house and continued to knock on the door over a period of a few weeks I think. We kept going back because someone there had said they were interested in being taught. On this day we knocked on the door and again nobody answered. So, we began to walk down the street and that is when an irate man came out of the house yelling at us. "If you ever knock on this door again I'm gonna break your arm!" he screamed at us. Needless to say, that was the last time we ever knocked on that door. |
