John and Alyson Jackson were married in the Salt Lake City Temple after meeting on a semester abroad program in which John's dad was the lead professor (England). They have just finished medical school at the U. of Utah and are at Duke for 4 years of radiology residency. They have two children Brynne (4) and Jake (21 months).
John was one of the first North Americans sent to the original PLE mission. He served from Feb. 1988 to Feb. 1990 in El Agustino/Lima with Eddie Cuadros and Ricardo Alva, Central with Manuel Fonseca, Wilfredo Uceda, Aaron Webb and James Bagley. They he went to Tarma with Milton Paredes, Palcamayo/Tarma with Azanedo, Ipanaque, then Huancayo with David Montalban, Jose Paredes, Oxampampa with Fidel Uceda, and Los Ficus with J.D. Pelaez and Scott Poehler. |
