We have been in beautiful Vancouver, WA now for over 9 years. My husband, Bruce, and I have 5 children: Rachel, 22; Ben,20; Zak,18; Heather,16; Caleb,14. I work in a local elementary school with "English Language Learners" from many language backgrounds, mostly Spanish and Russian. I get to use my Spanish occasionally. :) I am currently serving as a ward missionary with my husband, who is ward mission leader. We have 2 missionaries in the field, both entered the field November 2009. Our third is currently waiting for his mission call. Rachel is serving in Independence MO, and has served in Liberty Jail and the Independence Visitors Center as a tour guide. She has been to Pres and Sis. Christensen's "Marydale Inn Bed and Breakfast! Ben is serving in the San Fernando CA mission, Spanish. I'm so grateful for the gospel and would never trade the 18 months I spent service in Peru for anything else!!
Ya estamos mas de 8 años en el hermoso Vancouver, Washington. Yo, con mi esposo, tenemos 5 ninos: Rachel, 22; Ben, 20; Zak,18; Heather,16; Caleb,14. Actualmente siervo como misionera de barrio con mi esposo. Nuestros dos hijos mayores estan sirviendo misiones: Rachel esta en Independencia Missouri, y Ben esta en San Fernando, California, español. El tercero esta esperando su llamada. Me agradezco tanto el evangelio y el tiempo en la mision. Nunca cambiaría nada por ese tiempo gastado en el servicio del Señor en Peru!! |
