I was married to Dora in the LA temple in 1983 and we have four children (3 boys and 1 girl). My oldest is 19 and preparing to submit his papers. I graduated from BYU in 1987 with an Accounting degree. I worked in the Los Angeles area for 10 years then moved to Pinetop AZ for 7 years. We moved back to CA (Ventura County) in 2004 and I am the Accounting Manager for the City of Santa Barbara.
We have all been active in the church. I have served in many callings over the past 25 years, including 2 bishoprics, Ward Clerk, Gospel Doctrine teacher a few times, scouting, Young Men's, and I am now in my 3rd High Priest Group leadership. We have had our challenges but the Lord has been good to us.
I can't believe that it has been 25 years since I entered the mission field. I haven't kept in touch with many companions or families but I am getting nostalgic and missing all. Hopefully, I can make it to a reunion and we will be able to get together sometime. |
