The First Presidency has announced the call of Pres. Rafael De La Cruz Pasquel as president of the Peru Trujillo Mission. He and his wife began serving in January. .
Rafael De La Cruz Pasquel, 46, Naranjal Ward, Lima Peru Las Palmeras Stake; former regional representative, mission president's counselor, temple sealer, stake president, high councilor, district president, branch president, elders quorum president, Young Men president, and Sunday School president and teacher; served in Colombia Mission, 1971-73; supervisor of distribution center in Peru; born in Lima, Peru, a son of Jose Levano and Flora Alvarado Pasquel De La Cruz; married Sonia Moreyra Migliarini, five children. She is a former stake Relief Society president, stake Primary president, ward music director, institute teacher, and Sunday School teacher; served in Colombia Mission, 1971-73; studied dental mechanics; born in Montevideo, Uruguay, a daughter of Julian and Sonia Migliarini Moreyra. |
