Comments:
On January 8, 2002, I first met my eternal companion in the LDS chat room. We corresponded for several months by e-mail, letters and by telephone. In September 2002 we first met at the Manila International Airport. We stayed at the patron house at the Manila Temple (Of course we stayed in separate rooms). We attended several sessions in the temple and we prayed a lot if our decision was right and on September 4th when we were behind the Manila Temple, my future husband asked me “In which temple would you like to be sealed?” I replied “The Salt Lake City Temple.” He then said “That is good, it is close to my home.”
We then traveled to Davao where he met my family. Until now, we have been married for two years since July 18, 2003. I am so grateful to meet my husband. He is so nice, kind, loving, supportive, spiritual and very understanding.
We now live in Salt Lake City, Utah and we are a happy couple. My husbands calling is Primary Teacher and I have been called to serve in the Enrichment Committee. We are members of the Monument Park 1st Ward in the Monument Park North Stake. We were blessed by the opportunity to visit my family back home in the Philippines and my brother-in-law in Japan this past summer 2005. We were able to attend the Temple in Japan. It was a wonderful experience to visit the House of the Lord in such a beautiful country as Japan. I am so grateful to live here because I am able to attend General Conference to the see the Prophet and the Apostles. I have had a chance to meet Elder Maxwell. He attended the same meeting house as my ward. I am also grateful to attend a Pilipino Fireside after General Conference to learn about the mission in the Philippines and to learn how the Saints are progressing. I am grateful to be a member in this true Church since August 26, 1996. I know the Lord will bless our daily lives as we continue to press forward. The church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Jesus Christ lives.
