Comments:
I'm glad to discover this website and hope to see some of my former companions thru this. Well, it's been 26 years already since i've served my mission. I got married 1988 have 4 kids, three daughters and a son. I am a cabin steward in a passenger boat Princess Cruisess since 1995 and was privilege to see different places from around the globe. Meet passengers who are LDS members and blessed to join with them in the sacrament meeting during sunday of course in one of the cabin. in 1993 I wrote in my journal as an advise of one of the couple to write your wishes in the journal which i did "to be able to come and visit Salt Lake". A GOAL THAT IS NOT WRITTEN IS ONLY A wish. So after 7 years my goal happened,in 2000 my wife and i were blessed to attend the dedication of the NEW CONFERENCE CENTER and attend sessions in almost all the temple in Utah especially the Salt lake temple. that was a very touching moment. I can't control my emotions at that time my tears just flowed. I'm thankful to be inside the Salt Lake Temple with my wife this time for real and not in magazines only. The Church is true. Here in my job as a seaman there are lots of temptations but i honor my priesthood because i love Heavenly Father. I always make sure that I have my temple recommends every time i join the ship. Thanks to my parents who have received the missionaries and have accepted the gospel in their lives. By the way during that visit also i happened to see my mission president Elder and Sister sperry after 20 years. They still look thesame strong and smiling couple. We hug and had some pictures taken. In that reunion somewhere in Salt Lake city i also have seen my co missionaries.I was really touch. I know as long as one is active in the church you will see each other where ever you maybe. Thanks webmaster for providing this link.Hope to see them here registered.
