We moved to Maryland (DC metropolitan area) in 2010. Marriner is a research engineer at the Naval Research Lab, I'm at home with 3 kids (Lige, Ellis and Lillian). I just got released as teacher of the Tagalog Sunday School class in our ward - how sad! I'm teaching Primary singing time now. I'm also a Tagalog translator for Sacrament meeting. Wild!
Hmmm...as for the kids, Lige is an incredible Kindergarten student, Ellis is 4 and learning how to read, Lillian is 2 and as crazy as they get!
Next month I'll have been home 10 years. Time has flown! My Tagalog has really come back since we moved here, and I still make pancit and adobo for my family. We're doing great, life is good, and I'm so glad for the time I spent preaching the gospel! |
