My daughter Cami received a call to serve in the Philippines Tacloban Mission. She is scheduled to leave the MTC on March 16. She only had 6 weeks to get ready to enter the MTC, so any suggestions or tips on what is a good idea to take to the Philippines, would be appreciated.
I have 4 children of which Cami is the only girl. Being the only girl with 3 brothers, she has learned to hold her own.
I love the Gospel and am so glad I have it in my life. I am so grateful that Cami has made the decision to serve a mission and I am putting my faith in the Lord that he will watch over her. I am not one that likes having my children far away, but I know she will be blessed and watched over. I love the Temple and feel like I am home every time I attend. I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for my family and for giving me the opportunity to be a mother. I am excited for Cami and know she will be great missionary. Thank you for this opportunity to meet some new people. |
