| one preparation day, in my last area. after playing frizbee in tolosa, my companion suggested that we'll just stay in our apartment and just work more hours the next day! he said he was tired and need to do things in which i understand perfectly well. but somehow someone seems telling me that we should go and proselyte. i checked my planner and found out that we dont have any appointments for the day! what was written in there is a plan to visit an inactive member who never welcome us to their home! but still the feeling is strong that inspite of our tired bodies refusal to change our clothes and start walking, we did go. we visited the member that we plan to visit and found out that her daughter is sick and been that way few days ago and because theyre so poor to buy any medicine theyre just looking forward that a priesthood member might visit them and give her daughter a blessing. and they were glad we came. we did gave her daughter a blessing and went home. the next day she was well and thank us for what we did. yet that simple decision that we had gave us the opportunity to visit that mother more often and as far as i remember did came to church once when i was there. though that only happen but at least we were on their help when they needed it. |
