I served in San Juan Mission, la mejor que todo, with Pres Davies & Baird. I now live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with my husband Thomas of 4.5 years and my little boy Joe who is 2.5 years. I am going to NC state currently to get my bachelors in Spanish. I am the 2nd counselor in the Primary in Chapel Hill 2nd ward. My husband and I went to PR March 2006 and LOVED it. We did all the touristy stuff and spent Sunday visting the people in Penuelas. I advise visiting the campo as well as the touristy stuff when you go back because the people are so different in the tourist business. They would answer back to us in English even though we were speaking in Spanish. When we go back I want to make an effort for my hubby to see the "real"side of PR. |
