I recently lost my twins that I carried to 17 weeks. Needless to say, I was devastated. I just wanted to share my testimony that I know Heavenly Father watches over us and that He LOVES us! Anything He could’ve done to soften this blow to my spirit was done. It’s amazing how in moments of despair, the Atonement becomes so real to you. It did for me. I am so grateful for the love that the Savior has for me. I literally felt it buoy me up with hope when there wasn’t any left. I’ve found tangible comfort in knowing that everything is ok, even though I don’t understand the whys. Whether those spirits still belong to me or not, my two sons will always hold a piece of my heart.
I am so grateful for my mission and for my testimony. The Gospel is TRUE! The truth that we fought for together means everything to me! I hope you are all well and happy. There is much sorrow to be had in this life, but there is also much joy. I experience so much joy in raising my two kids. My son has prayed “Mama won’t be sad,” every night since the miscarriage and I feel my heart overwhelm with love with his innocent, heart-felt words. I am so grateful for my family. |
