Been about 5 yrs now since coming home. 1 month to the day after coming home I began dating my eventual wife, Rachel. We were engaged 3 months later, married 3 1/2 months after that. We had our first daughter Mary 14 months later. 20 months later we had our next daughter, Leah. Mary is now 3, Leah nearing 1 1/2. We recently moved in July into our new place and are enjoying it. Now, I work with affiliate marketing programs and help build subscriber bases for many different companies. In the next 2+ yrs our family plans to help many others with their dreams and goals in life. Our little family is excited about the future and expanding our lifestyle and adding more members to our family.
Since returning home from Romania, I've been able to serve as assistant Exec. Sec, Gospel Essentials teacher, and 2nd counselor in Young Men.
I miss terribly those of you who I served with and think about many of you from time to time. I learned so much from each of you and it really was a privilege. As most of you who served, the Romanian people I came to meet and know are the ones I miss the most. Having been unable to return there thus far, I do keep that as one of my major goals.
One thing that I have regretted is not letting each of you I served with know the lessons you taught me, and the unique impacts you all have had on my life. May the Lord bless you and your families in all of your righteous endeavors. |
