Here's a request from a letter received by Kirsten Abel from a Utah volunteer group, Voices of Friendship:
"As a work of the heart, group of Utah volunteers is organizing an international children's choir festival for October 14-20, 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Choirs will be coming from 25-30 of the countries that will participate in the 2002 Winter Olympics. The festival will include a variety of community concerts and other activities with the grand finale concert at the new Conference Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Would you please announce at your mission reunion that a choir is coming from Romania to participate in the festival and that we could use help with the translation for the choir? Those that are interested can get more information on our soon to be launched web site at www.voicesoffriendship.org.
