I was with the last group that Pres. Chapple welcomed into Moscow-served for 5 months in Severaza with Ashton and Carter, then down to Yuzhny where I remained when the mission split in 97. Got married 2 years after I returned home-we lost a son, but have a 2 daughters, Emma and Julianna. Fun times looking over all the names and remembering my introduction to Gatorball and eating horribly with Elder Ashton (he promised that it would be the worst I'd eat with any companion, and he was right--spaghetti and catsup just doesn't match up to Thanksgiving with Larsen, BJ, and all that crew!)
We moved down to Vegas in August 04 to get out of Utah and to see what teaching High School English is like (instead of History). It's nice to not have to deal with the snow down here! |
