Upon returning home from Russia, I attended 2 quarters at Utah State University before deciding to join the US Navy. Following basic training, I went to Hospital Corpsman School and became a Navy Corpsman. Two weeks before graduating Corps school, I married Kristi Leigh Ransier, who I met at USU. Together we moved to Portsmouth, Virginia where I served in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Following two years of service I attended Dermatology technician school in San Diego, CA where I specialized in cosmetic laser and IPL technology. After finishing my tour in the Navy, I joined North American Science Associates (NAMSA), a medical device testing company, as a National Account Manager. After gaining valuable experience while working for NAMSA, I joined Steris Isomedix, a contract sterilization company. Kristi and I have three beautiful children, a boy and two girls. |
