Seems my wife will use any excuse to avoid getting me a birthday present. So this time the excuse was that she was giving birth to our son who was born on June 1st. I graciously accepted the excuse. He weighed in at 3.57 kilos (do Americans still weigh things in bushels or have they progressed to pounds yet? Well I'll flatter you with your ability to progress....thats 7lbs and 15 oz!!) and we have named him Brendan. He sleeps well and thats probably the most important thing really!
