Bruce Beck married Janet Shimoda, also a missionary in Samoa from 1957 - 1959, in 1961. They have five children, Jani-Lin Sharp (Boise), Brandin (Phoenix), Brady (Las Vegas), Jaime (Provo) and Jacque Wallace (Phoenix). Janet passed away this past March following an extended illness and a stroke. Bruce and Janet were happily married for 42 years. Bruce now works as a Business Adviser/Management Consultant part time, having taken retirement from Knight Traansportation in 2002 where he was a Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. His focus is primarily on family owned companies. |
