I joined the Utah National Guard in Oct. 2001. I enlisted as a wheeled Vehicle Mechanic in the 1457th Engineer Combat Battalion Det. 1 Co. B in Vernal, Utah. Went to Baghdad, Iraq from Feb 2003 tell May 2004. I Transferred to the 1st battalion 211th Aviation in West Jordan, Utah in May 0f 2006 when I was hired on as a full-time Aviation Supply Technician. I currently am in charge of ordering repair parts for the AH-64 Apache and the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. I had previously worked full-time from July 2005 to May 2006 as a temporary Supply technician at state headquarters in Draper, Utah. I was in charge of ordering repair parts at the combined support maintenance shop for Wheeled vehicles and weapons and artillery equipment. |
