Hi everyone,
I haven't updated my information in awhile.
Things have changed alot in the past 2 yrs. My daughter, Gabrielle, was born in July 2008. She was born with a leg length discrepancy and a missing fibula. Her condition is called Fibular Hemimelia. She recently had surgery and was fitted with a prosthetic leg at Shriner's Hospital in Salt Lake. They luckily are experts at her condition, and provide free care to all who have qualifying conditions until they are 18 yrs old.
As a result of this and other factors, my wife and I decided to move closer to Salt Lake this past August. We moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah. I started working for IHC at a Pediatric clinic in American Fork. If you are going to the Timpanogos temple from State Street on 1100 East, you may see my mug shot on a banner in front of the clinic.
My son, Luke, is almost 3 yrs old and can throw a football pretty well, we just hope he grows taller than me. He is excited to be able to go to Jazz, Real Salt Lake (soccer), and BYU football games now. My daughter has a fiesty attitude, and will be hard to keep up with once she has mastered walking on her new leg.
Overall my wife and I feel fortunate that we could find a job and move closer to family and friends. We lived in a great place in Arizona, but were kind of far from family and activities we enjoyed.
