| Comments: Ken Summerhays (1975-1977) I served on the islands of Tahiti (Papenoo, Mission Home, Paea) and Raiatea (Uturoa, Avera). Married my monamona, Debbie Fessler, and have 5 wonderful children. My oldest son has just finished his mission to Rochester, New York. We have a daughter who is a Sophomore at Dixie State College, and a Freshman, Junior and Senior in High School. We have experience great joy through our children. After serving many years in the Bishopric in both California and Utah, I have been put out to pasture, and currently serve in the Stake Presidency of the St. George Washington Fields Stake. My wife, after serving 18 years in the Primary Presidency has finally graduated and serves as our Ward's Young Women's President. To this day I still draw upon the lessons learned from the wonderful people of Tahiti. We live in Washington, Utah, and I work at the St. George Surgical Center as the Director of Nursing. | |
