| Comments: W. Grenny. I served under Presidents Mack and Larson from 1980-1982. During that time I was in Papeete, Apataki (including Arutua and Kaukura), Takapoto, Takaroa, Ahe, Maupiti, Bora Bora then finished in Papeete. I married Celia Marie Waldron in 1987 and have five children: Aislinn-16, Cara-14, Seth-11, Samuel-9 and Hyrum 5 (as of 2000). I have lived in Orem, Utah for most of the past 15 years where I am a partner in a business that provides leadership training and consulting. I am most excited about work I've started doing with 3rd World LDS poor and their neighbors. For the past two years I've worked with members in Nairobi Kenya to start a cooperative business to help them create their own jobs. It's been a great deal of fun. I recently co-authored a book called United for Zion: Principles for Uniting the Saints to Eliminate Poverty--with a couple of good friends (yes, this is shameless promotion). I miss my old missionary companions and hope to see them someday and hope they aren't all dead | |
