Life in Tooele not bad. William is 17 and moved back during the weekdays to finish high school in Elko (NV) because the Utah school system has some requirements they wouldn't let him out of, even though we moved here at the start of his junior year.
Amelia 14 Basketball, volleyball, choir
Andrew 11 Trumpet Basketball
Porter 9 Basketball
Heather sews a lot and keeps very busy as young women's president.
I'm in the young men's presidency and play the organ a lot -- also still plugging away at SkyWest and wishing I could find some job that would allow me to use my BA in Chinese and my Int'l MBA.

Somebody said in the MTC "the days go by like weeks and the weeks go by like days." How true that still is. We have moved from Nevada to Tooele, UT. William is now 16, Amelia 13, Andrew 10, and Porter 8. We had Chinese buffet last night.

More than 2 years since my last update! Still at SkyWest, still in Ruby Valley, NV and going to stay. (It was only ever supposed to be temporary, but we are making preparations to build a house out here and stay until at least the millenium).

The family are all doing well. Despite her teaching degree, Heather is now taking prerequisites for a nursing degree program. William is attending high school through BYU independent study, but will board in Elko next school year. The other three, Amelia, Andrew, and Porter, are good out here through grade 8.

Things are going well for me at work. Last year, I upgraded to Captain, and most recently, I was made a Line Check Airman. As such, I'm responsible for on-the-job training of new hires and newly-upgraded captains as they do their first few hours of actual revenue flights. It's been particularly fun for me these last couple months, as on a few occasions I have had the opportunity to fly with an old Taidong apartment mate, (Elder) Dean Bodily, who is also at SkyWest.

My oldest just turned 12 in July. Hard to believe I already have a child passing the sacrament! Man, I'm getting old!
