I married my wife 10 weeks after leaving Taipei in the fall of 1981. From 1995 to 2003 we lived in Beijing where I was a senior partner with McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm. We are called to serve as the Mission President in Taipei for the period July 1, 2003 to July 1, 2006. We have six children; the four youngest are living with us in Taipei. Our oldest son has been serving in the Gaoxiong Mission since August 2002, and a daughter is a freshman at BYU.
If you get to Taipei, come see us. We live across the street from the temple in the church's office/residence building. By the way, the new 7-story Taipei Central stake center (on the site of the demolished old one) with multiple chapels will be completed in September 2004. |
