I married Tauna Bateman of Shelley Idaho in 1985. Our prayers were finally answered in 1996 with the birth of our first child, Garrett in 1996 and again with Gavin in 1999. I graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry and later with an MS in Exercise Physiology. We have lived in Provo/Orem; Idaho Falls, ID; and Cedar City, Utah.
About six years ago I moved back to southern Colorado, the land of my birth, to simplify my life. It has been a good move overall. Teaching isn't lucrative, but it is rewarding and I get to spend a lot more time with my boys now.
Nearly all of my church callings have been in the YM's and Primary until recently. In the two years I have been in the Elder's Quorum Presidency, High Priest's Group leadership, Ward Executive Secretary and I am currently the Ward Clerk. Feels like it's time to move again. :-) |
