I've been home almost 3 months now. In the Fall I will start teaching High School somewhere in Utah. I'm pretty excited to teach, I love it, but getting a "real job" is not exciting. Right now just having fun and getting back into things. I loved my mission as I'm sure the majority of missionaries do, but I really did. I found so many different parts of me that I didn't know where there. I still love the people in that mission. I always will. I'm so glad I was tested and challenged almost everyday and that I still know it's all true. I know I was supposed to go there, and that I was to serve under both President Sorber and President Lords. I wanted to go on a mission for along time. Obstacles were put in my way about the same time I was getting ready to put my papers in. I didn't go for another 2 years, but now I see that it was supposed to be that way. To use Elder Holland's words, my mission means everything to me. |
