June 2017 Status:

I don't know if anybody I knew checks this out or not, but I've been registered here since 2007 I think and I haven't heard from anybody. That's ok. Our generation is kind of funny that way. I don't have a facebook account or any other social media, so I'm not really trying to be easy to find I guess. I figure I can come back here every ten years or so and update things though. :)

We just finished building a house in West Jordan about a year ago. I like it out here. I currently work for the church in their IT office in Riverton. I work for the End User Productivity department which is the group that is responsible for supplying all of the hardware and software for the church. I'm a trainer here and spend most of my time teaching people how to use Office 365 tools as we migrate data from our servers to the cloud. It has been an amazing experience to work here.

Still married and still have the same 3 kids. Erik turns 14 in November. Adrienne turned 11 in June and Parker turned 9 in April. Jennifer celebrates the 11th anniversary of her 29th birthday in December and I just turned 41 in April. Man, we are getting old...

I love the ward I am in right now. It is awesome. I'm the Ward Mission Leader and so excited about that. I've spent the last 15 years in EQ presidencies and am really looking forward to this change. Missionary work is so much different now than it was 20 years ago. It is exciting to be a part of it again.

I'd love to get caught up with anyone who remembers me. My mission taught me a lot and it is something I think about on a daily basis. There were a lot of missed opportunities and mistakes that I made, but I definitely believe that I'm a better husband, father, and man because of the experience. I thank everybody who was a part of that.

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
